It is a transitional work, with elements of both the earlier Kinks' styles heavily blues-influenced songs such as Milk Cow Blues and variations on the band's hits from 19641965 such as Till the End of the Day and early. Title: That Was Then. This Is Now 1985. Joe Howard is still going ahead with his wedding to fiancee Victoria on 11 July, in Norwich's St John the Baptist Cathedral - but with just a fifth of the guests. When lockdown was introduced, they had already done months and months of planning for a 150-people wedding, says Joe. On the day it's literally go to get married in the day and then go home or to the park. The couple have chosen the lucky 30 who will be coming on the day - prioritising the wedding party including ushers, bridesmaids and their partners, parents, grandparents and a couple of aunts. The groom has added his best man into his social bubble so he can help with the planning. The story behind The Strokes Is This It album cover. We spoke to photographer Colin Lane the man behind the lens about that iconic album image and what it was like to shoot the band at the start of their career. Of course, then came the sound over the systems: that night at Glastonbury it seemed every tent and stage played some remix of Bad , Billie Jean or Smooth Criminal. The saucer-eyed ravers mourned by moonwalking in muddy fields in Hunter wellies as one huge collective euphoric gurn. Here was a band that could write and play a three-minute tune about as well as they could rock a grey blazer and a salmon-pink tie. Molly is still unhappy at work, mostly because her colleague Torian always looks as if she has just let off the worlds most potent fart and because Andrew wont open up about his personal life.
