Watch the official video for Youth of the Nation by . from the album 'Satellite' 2001 Subscribe to the Rhino Way the Wind Blows is the second and final studio album by American country music duo Brother Phelps. After its release, Doug re-joined country rock band The Kentucky Headhunters, of which he and Ricky Lee were both members previous to Brother Phelps' inception. This album produced singles in its title track and Not So Different After All, although neither charted in the Top 40 on the Billboard country charts. The title track was originally recorded by J. Cale on his 1974 album Okie. Youth of the Nation was a hit single from . in 2002. It was the second single to come from their album, Satellite. It was inspired in part by the school shootings at Santana High School and Columbine High School. Speaking with about this song in a 2012 interview, lead singer Sonny Sandoval said: When we were actually writing the record for Satellite, we were two blocks away from the Santee high school shootings. Youth of the Nation is the second single off of . s fourth album, Satellite. The song deals with issues facing American youth at the time. The first verse deals with an unnamed boy who is shot and killed by his own classmate in a school shooting. The boy talks about regretting not being able to say goodbye to his parents, recalls the school shooting, and wonders why his classmate made the decision to open fire on his school. The second verse has two different stories. The Wind Blows is a song by American rock band The All-American Rejects, released as the second single from their third studio album When the World Comes Down on April 21, 2009. The Wind Blows originally titled Alone Again was written by Nick Wheeler and Tyson Ritter, originally for American singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani prior to the release of When the World Comes Down, but was ultimately turned down by her record label. The one exception is her cover of Nanci Griffith's Love at the Five and Dime. Its pacing and restraint - courtesy of expert production by Allen Reynolds and Don Williams' harmony vocal - make the song a mind movie. The refrain with Williams is chillingly beautiful, as if, now old and gray, they are singing to one another in the moonlight. Общая лексика: хорошо разбираться в обстановке s book. Youth Of The Nation: Last day of the rest of my life I wish I would've known 'Cause I didn't kiss my mama goodbye I didn. Maybe this kid was reaching out for love Or maybe for a moment He forgot who he was Or maybe this kid just wanted to be hugged Whatever it was I know it's because. We are, we are the youth of the nation We are, we are youth of the nation We are, we are the youth of the nation We are, we are youth of the nation. Little Suzy, she was only twelve She was given the world With every chance to excel. Hang with the boys and hear the stories they tell She might act kind of proud But no respect for herself. Title: The Way We Were 1973. Epic and anchored by the history of the century, The title, The Way We Were refers to all of us. It's how we once were when things mattered and we cared. Too often dismissed as a chick flick or a tear jerker, this is two of the best there ever were at their personal best. 109 of 126 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you .
